Traditional with a Twist with Jackson Morgan

June St. George’s two-year anniversary is approaching at the end this week! To celebrate, we’ll be sharing giveaways and tips to help you celebrate your bespoke life along with us!

What better way to kick off our anniversary week than with a festive (and delicious) twist on a family tradition!

I recently met Morgan, who took up her family legacy of creating curated craft whiskey cream with Jackson Morgan Southern Cream. Jackson Morgan Southern Cream honors family and tradition with a fun twist - just like June St. George! We teamed up to bring you a fun recipe that honors my family traditions.

There is something so special about knowing there is always a delectable banana pudding waiting for you when you open my grandmother’s refrigerator. She has always considered it the perfect dessert and whips one up for every celebration – from birthdays to Sunday gatherings. It’s one of those magical desserts that just gets better with a bit of time “melding” in the refrigerator. She always elevates the simple dessert by serving it in a milk glass pedestal bowl.

She always kept it simple, using instant pudding, freezer whipped topping, and vanilla wafer cookies. We’ve tweaked her recipe and shook it up with a fun twist by adding Jackson Morgan Banana Pudding Cream liqueur in place of a bit of the liquid.

I hope you enjoy our “Not Your Grandma’s Banana Pudding” recipe that you can make for your next gathering (sipping responsibly of course!). So “Sip and Be Social” and “Celebrate Your Bespoke Life” as we celebrate our two year anniversary!

Not Your Grandma’s Banana Pudding

1 5oz package of instant vanilla pudding mix

1 cup of cold milk*

1 cup of Jackson Morgan Banana Pudding Cream liqueur

1 14oz can sweetened condensed milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 12oz container of frozen whipped topping thawed

1 16oz package of vanilla wafer cookies

6 or more bananas sliced

In a large bowl, mix vanilla pudding mix, cold milk, and Jackson Morgan Banana Pudding Cream for about 2-3 minutes until it thickens a bit

Mix in condensed milk and vanilla extract until mixture is smooth

Fold in whipped topping.

Layer vanilla wafer cookies, pudding, and bananas.

Chill in refrigerator and let the flavors meld together! Lick your fingers responsibly.

Tip: If you are serving this and want a perfect presentation, save one banana and slice then garnish before you serve so they do not turn brown in the fridge.

*To make this recipe kid-friendly, increase the cold milk to 2 cups and remove the whiskey cream
