Hurricane Helene Relief
June St. George is offering a selection of their existing collections that are named after - and pay homage to - this beautiful part of the world which has been recently decimated by Hurricane Helene. For each item purchased from this collection, this North Carolina based company will donate 20% of sales to the following organizations in the area. These organizations have been recommended to June St. George by those on the ground and experiencing the hardships brought by Helene firsthand.
Pillow Purchases: Samaritan's Purse
Pet Bed Purchases: Brother Wolf Animal Rescue
Ally-Catherine, founder of June St. George, is also personally committed to matching the funds raised through purchases.
Western North Carolina holds a special place in Ally-Catherine’s heart as she has spent many a happy holiday in Brevard, Hendersonville, Asheville, and the other beautiful mountain towns. The Asheville, Henderson, Brevard Fawn Spot, and Highland collections take their name from the places that inspired the designs. Ally-Catherine created the designs to celebrate the calmness of nature and the artistry of the areas and wants to use these works to support their namesake locations and the incredible local artisans that have inspired her since childhood. These places are full of precious memories for Ally-Catherine - from her furry sidekick, June Sailor’s, first birthday among the spring blossoms to endless board games by the fire after being snowed in, from quiet mornings enjoying the stillness and natural beauty of the Appalachian mountains to meeting lifelong friends on main streets in friendly towns. She hopes that this sincere gesture helps to restore even a small corner of a placed beloved by so many.
June St. George is proud to celebrate its Southern heritage and manufactures its pillows, dog beds, and textiles in the South. Thankfully, despite widespread power outages and damage, all team members and their families are safe. Incredibly, our team members who have power have offered to continue to work on our handmade products at home. Their resilience and the power of community they have demonstrated has been a bright spot in the midst of devastation.
Thank you from the bottom of our heart for helping us support these communities however we can. We are so grateful.
